While these packages can get pricey, YouTube TV is currently offering 18% off the first five months of service.

YouTube TV normally costs $83 a month, but new users can get $15 a month off their first five months of streaming after a free trial. The discount is available until November 26, 2026, which means that you have a few more weeks to cash in. The offer is only available if you click through our YouTube TV link (otherwise, you'll just see a two-month deal).

YouTube TV Main Plan YouTube TV's main plan carries over 100 channels, ranging from local networks to cable favorites. We spend our days tracking deals and vetting them to see if they're actually worth it, and not just a flashy "sale" tag. The top subscription deals offer deep discounts spread over a long period of time.

With a total of $75 in savings over five months, the deal on YouTube TV's Main plan does exactly that. This is one of the best early Black Friday streaming deals we've spotted, and the best sale we've seen on a live TV service so far this year. We're fans of YouTube TV because of its impressive channel selection, user-friendliness, and suite of other key features, including unlimited cloud DVR, multiview, and up to three simultaneous streams (and up to six household accounts).

The streaming platform carries 100+ channels in its Main plan, including both cable favorites and local network affiliates. Subscribers can access everything from ESPN, FS1, CNN, and Bravo to ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC. The service has also integrated ESPN Unlimited content directly into YouTube TV.

YouTube TV carries an impressive selection of channels. Lillian Brown/Business Insider FAQ How long has the YouTube TV deal been around? The YouTube TV deal first launched on January 1, 2026, and has been extended a few times.

The current offer is scheduled to conclude on November 26. How long is the YouTube TV free trial? YouTube TV offers a free trial for new users, so you can try out the service for multiple days before you're charged for your first month, giving you time to decide whether it's a good fit.

YouTube TV's free trial varies in length, so you should check to see what's available to you when you go to sign up. We've seen trials ranging from two to 21 days. What channels are available with YouTube TV?

As we mentioned above, pretty much every channel you'd find in a standard cable package is available through a YouTube TV subscription. That includes robust local channel coverage (ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC) and cable networks. In YouTube TV's Main plan, some of the most notable channels available include AMC, Bravo, CNN, Disney Channel, ESPN, FS1, FS2, Fox News, FX, MTV, NFL Network, TBS, TNT, truTV, and USA.

Are there other YouTube TV plans? While the Main plan is YouTube TV's flagship subscription option, the streaming platform has also introduced other cheaper, genre-specific packages, including Sports + News. Does YouTube TV have add-ons?

While YouTube TV's Main plan offers most popular channels, you might find that one or two niche favorites are missing. Fortunately, you can add select channel options for an extra monthly fee. One of the most popular add-ons is NFL RedZone with Sports Plus for $10.99 a month.

This add-on includes the Tennis Channel, Willow, and beIN Sports, among other niche networks. The $29.99 a month Entertainment Plus add-on includes HBO Max, Paramount Plus with Showtime, and STARZ, and all of their related channels. 4K Plus, HBO Max Standard, Spanish Plus, and AMC Plus are among the many other add-ons. How do you sign up for the YouTube TV deal?

Signing up for the YouTube TV deal is a simple process. For the main plan, just make sure to click through one of our YouTube TV links to ensure you're accessing the full five-month offer (navigating to the YouTube TV sign-up page through other means, like Google, will only show you a two-month offer). A lifelong entertainment and media buff, I specialize in helping you find how to watch your favorite shows, movies, and sporting events. My areas of expertise My main expertise is in streaming services, television, and film. I've tested nearly every major streaming platform, many of which I've used for several years (and through several rounds of price hikes and rebrands).

I evaluate the apps using our comprehensive streaming testing methodologies , examining content, user-friendliness, cross-device compatibility, and other metrics to see how they hold up in an increasingly competitive market. In addition to entertainment coverage, I also help support our deals and tech verticals. I contribute to our coverage of virtual private networks (VPNs), smartphones, and fitness trackers.

My experience I've been writing about entertainment, sports, TV, and film for over eight years, starting my career in the Living/Arts department of The Boston Globe. I went on to write entertainment features, roundups, and conduct celebrity interviews for publications like Vulture, TV Guide, Esquire, Time, and The Daily Beast before joining Business Insider's Reviews team as a streaming specialist. In my current role, I write about everything from finding the right VPN for watching overseas soccer games to choosing the best streaming service for original TV series.

When I'm not writing, I'm editing stories from freelancers or fellow Reviews team members. I'm also an expert deal hunter. I love sharing an amazing discount with readers, whether it be on my favorite streaming services or on products I know our team loves and recommends.

I play an active role in writing about sales and deals for the Reviews team, especially on major shopping holidays. Why you can trust me Whether I'm testing streaming platform interfaces or actively comparing channel offerings between services, I always have my finger on the pulse of what’s new in entertainment. I'm the first person to know when a streaming service has changed its price, and whether or not it’s still worth paying for.

As a sports fan, I also understand the complexities of ensuring you can watch every single game in a season, especially as streaming services continue to pick up exclusive rights to select sporting events. I think that streaming services should make your life easier, not harder, and I strive to help make that a reality with our guides. Outside of work I live in Boston.

When I'm not working or watching TV, you can find me at a WNBA game, hiking, or long-distance running.
